The police have revealed the identity of the masked gang who allegedly kidnapped a snowman from the front of their station – the local fire brigade.
Furious cops said “things are about to get heated” after the masked kidnappers posted a photo of them holding the snowman to ransom.
Top investigators realised the gang’s hideout appeared very similar to the fire station up the road.

The lovingly-constructed snowman, consisting of three large icy balls, button eyes and a carrot nose, disappeared on Saturday night (10 Jan).
Police officers named their snowman Jonny.
CCTV images captured several masked men abducting the snowman in three pieces before disappearing into the night in a fire engine.
It was seized from Police Station 31 in Hamburg, Germany.
The police published a video bulletin of the alleged crime with a ‘Breaking News’ headline.

An officer said: “Last weekend, a group of masked individuals stole a snowman built by our colleagues at Station 31.”
He said the cold-blooded perpetrators dragged Jonny into a waiting vehicle.
They also pinned a ransom note on the police station’s window.

The suspects appeared to be wearing firefighter uniforms, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The police spokesperson said: “Particularly striking: the perpetrators wore identical clothing with reflective stripes and were able to escape undetected in a fire engine.”
A gang calling themselves ‘Barmbronx’ then posted a photo of the kidnapped snowman on the Instagram page of Barmbek Fire Station, the central hub for the city’s fire department.
The police said: “Our investigations are in full swing to get our snowman back as quickly as possible.”
They added: “For investigative reasons, we cannot disclose any further information at this time.”
One local said: “I wish you the best of luck in finding your snowman before the thaw, because then all traces will be gone.”
