Cops have captured a snapping alligator in the hallway of an apartment block.
Officers were called to the scene to eject the unwelcome intruder by concerned residents.
Body-cam footage showed two cops throwing a blanket over the reptile’s head.

One officer then dragged the scaly beast out of the hallway and onto the lawn by its tail as his colleague distracted it from the front.
At one point, the gator quickly turned on the cop behind it, angrily snapping at him.
The police managed to grab the animal’s jaws before taping them closed.
They placed the alligator in a patrol car and took it to a nearby lake where they released it.
The coordinated capture took place at an apartment block on Lake Debra Drive in Orlando in Florida, US, last Tuesday (21 Oct).

A police spokesperson said: “When they arrived, they discovered a five to six-foot alligator in the hallway.
“Officers safely captured the gator and released it back into Lake Mann.
“No officers or the alligator were injured.

“This incident is a reminder that our officers never know what they’ll encounter on a call, but they are always prepared to get the job done.”
One local said: “Do they teach you how to take an alligator down at training school because that one guy really looked like he knew what he was doing?”
Erin added: “The officer with the baton that got his mouth closed, either used to be an interim gator wrestler at Gatorland or follows gator wranglers on Facebook.”
Arthur added: “If you listen closely, you can hear the gator under the towel saying ‘ooohhhh you’ll be hearing from my lawyer for this’.”
