A man has discovered an abandoned treasure trove where the owner appears to have left in a hurry – leaving behind a grand piano possibly worth thousands and several vintage cars.
Leland Kent has been interested in urban exploration for as long as he can remember, having first begun visiting deserted sites back in 2016.
He showcases these obscure, historic, and forgotten places online, including his most recent find – which included five old-school motors.
Leland found the home through his own research, discovering that it used to belong to an antique car collector.

“The place sits deep in the woods of rural Georgia,” the explorer, from Florida, US, told What’s The Jam.

“According to property records, the home dates to the early 20th century, although it appears it could be much older.
“It has a unique layout with attached rooms rather than a central hallway.
“In the kitchen, there is a calendar dated 2008, which gives some indication of when the house was last occupied.”

In a picture that captures the front of the property, the dirty front door can be seen rotting with ivy growing on and around the porch.
Walking into the home, the lounge can be seen left as if someone was to return home, with furniture and paintings in place.
But the ceiling paint is peeling off and hanging down, and there is rubble on the floor.

In another sitting room is more furniture and an immaculate Frederick Mathushek piano, which can sell for thousands online.
As an example, one eBay listing shows another piano by the instrument maker listed at $65,000 (USD).
In the room, there are also piles of debris, strips of wood, and parts of the overhead ceiling on the floor.
The bedrooms also seem completely untouched; one with a four-poster bed and dresser and the other with a single bed and sofa.
The bathroom still features an old towel and hand wash, however, the debris from the ceiling has covered the floor and bathtub.
Outside, Leland struck gold – finding five vintage vehicles.
He said: “In the small, detached garage behind the house are a Packard and Cadillac sedan, as well as a few old Buicks.”
In one photo, an old brown Buick can be seen parked up next to the others, with some of the falling garage roof on its top.
In another, a dusty Packard and Cadillac are parked in the small garage, in mint condition if it wasn’t for the dust and dirt.
Another Buick is also spotted with debris on its roof.
