Buckingham Palace is now flogging posh gin and tonic in a tin – but it’ll set you back a royal £8 a pop.
The royals have launched a 6.8% ready-to-drink G&T made with Buckingham Palace Dry Gin, infused with 12 botanicals hand-picked from the palace gardens.
Ingredients include lemon verbena, bay leaves and mulberry leaves, all grown in the grounds of the King’s official London residence, as reported by What’s the Jam.

The cocktail is described as a “light, crisp gin” and comes in a pale blue can decorated with flowers, a gold crown and even an image of the palace itself.
The back of the tin reads: “Hand-picked botanicals from Buckingham Palace’s exceptional garden have been combined to create a unique and flavoursome gin.

“Paired beautifully with the finest tonic water to create the perfect cocktail.”
The royal website gushes that the tins are “perfect for picnics, garden parties and warm weather” – with botanicals including lemon thyme and apple mint from the historic Physic Garden said to give it an “elegant and lively flavour profile”.
The ready-mixed 250ml tins are available now for £8 each.
