Gordon Ramsay must have been left reeling after a monster tuna worth a fortune washed up just yards from his pad.
The whopper – thought to weigh over 300lbs and be worth more than £60,000 – was spotted thrashing about in shallow waters.
Locals first mistook the beast for a dolphin before realising it was an ultra-rare Atlantic bluefin tuna.

It happened in Rock, Cornwall, where Ramsay, 58, owns a plush home overlooking the beach, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Stunned Paul Sloggett said: “I saw what I first thought was a dolphin stranded on the beach.
“As I got closer I saw it was a tuna. I was shocked.
“It must have been five to six feet long and very powerful.”
Despite a desperate struggle to get back into deeper water, the fish was found washed up dead the next morning.

Paul added: “I’ve never seen a tuna there before.
“It must be even rarer to see a beached tuna.
“Gordon Ramsay has a big property in Rock near the beach.”

Tourist John Leek, from Essex, who saw the carcass, said: “It was sad to sea. It had already passed, so there was nothing we could do.”
And local Chris Parsons added: “In nearly 50 years I’ve never seen a bluefin tuna on Rock Beach.
“I reckon it was over 300lbs.
“They were recovering the carcass later in the day so I didn’t manage to snaffle a steak.”
The stranded giant is thought to have been caught out by stormy seas.
