A man who scoured through people’s rubbish left behind after Reading Festival ended up striking gold.
The concert–goer found some rather smelly items, too.
Ethan Overton did a similar scavenger hunt at the festival last year and spotted a brand new portable charger, a portable gas stove and even an iPhone 13 pro.

This time around, though, he bagged more than he bargained for, reports What’s The Jam.
In a clip, racking up 2.3m views and over 145,000 likes, he reveals the treasures left behind.

Ethan, from Bournemouth’s first find? A raw, whole fish.
He also came across a used firework shell, a grassy hairbrush, unopened jelly and a tin of Vaseline.
The 22-year-old, who boasts 348,000 followers on Instagram, then spots a set of scales and an electric toothbrush.

He said: “This place is such a s**thole.”
Other items include a bra, a pair of boxers, silent disco headphones and then the goldmine: a bumbag.
He opens it up to find £70 in cash, though notes it’d be best to hand it in to lost and found rather than swipe the money.

The CEO isn’t done there.
An original iPhone charger, powerbank, a tinfoil thermal blanket and a used frying pan are amongst the array of rubbish left to rot. [see full list below]
Ethan tucks into an unopened packet of Haribo sweets, before heading back to the car to price up what he found.
He takes home the cash and powerbank; totalling £90.
But what’s the trick to finding treasure in a pile of rubbish?
Ethan added: “Wake up earlier than everyone else.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions.
“Everyone should be charged a waste fee, that is disgraceful,” one person commented.
Drake added: “We as humans should be ashamed for leaving a place in that state.”

“Anything found after a festival is free to grab like anyone’s handing any money or anything they find,” Tom said.
Abbey commented: “I think they should start giving people fines if they don’t clear up before they leave.”
“£70 and bag of Haribo that would make my summer,” another person added.

Ethan previously hit the headlines after setting himself on a mission to trade in various models of car until he got a Lamborghini.
He started off with a Mini and now drives a Porsche.
