A lucky swimmer has been reunited with her Garmin sports watch that was lost at sea after it was found floating 150 miles away.

Martina Morgan was with her friends when she noticed her timepiece secured to a flotation device had come loose.

“I will carry on swimming with it.

“It’s the easiest way to record where you have been and what distance you have done.”

Ed, who took the call from Sean, couldn’t believe it.

He said: “I wasn’t expecting to see the watch again.

“It was even more surprising to get a call about it from Ireland.”
