A Brit abroad in Benidorm was left sweltering when the Spanish country was showing to be 41 degrees.

Graham White, also known as Benidorm Grumet, shares his wild antics in the popular tourist destination with his 350,000 TikTok followers.

The 48-year-old was left boiling, though, during the country’s recent heatwave.

In a clip, which has racked up 61,500 views and hundreds of likes, he shows the public temperature gage indicating a sweltering 41 degrees on 3 May, reports What’s The Jam.

According to the Met Office, the Spanish destination is no hotter than a comfortable 24 degrees this week – so it’s unclear if this was a glitch.

In the video, Graham, who hails from Middlesbrough, UK, says: “Honest, it’s hot in Benidorm today.”

He then swings the camera around to his friend, who appears to be struggling in the heat.

He says: “It’s showing 41 on there, watch, it can’t be 42 surely,” as Graham films a pharmacy’s automatic temperature sign.

Another sign says it was 32 degrees.

Men can be seen walking around in tank tops or with their tops off, while couples stroll down the streets and scooters go by.

Cafe’s, supermarkets and restaurants are shown filled to the brim with customers lapping up the sun.
