A flight attendant was left shocked after discovering her hotel room view was not what she had hoped for.
Angela Ruth Strong and her co-workers arrived at the hotel and were joking her on how she got a room on the highest floor – saying it would be “the best” and “the penthouse.”
But upon arrival, it was anything but that.

Angela recorded the ordeal, later sharing the video to TikTok and gathering 2.8m views.
“This was my first overnight in the city and another flight attendant had told me that it was one of her favourites,” Angela told What’s The Jam.

“So I had some pretty high expectations.
“Especially when my room was on a higher floor than the rest of the crew.
“But when I opened the door and saw the gorgeous ‘view’ printed on the shade, pulling it up to see a blank wall was both ridiculous and fitting.

“I think I was more entertained than anything, and I had to share.”
In the clip shared online, Angela can be seen walking towards the “window” with the supposedly amazing view.
She then realises it is a print of the city, on a blind.

The flight attendant rolls up the blind to find a plain white wall behind.
The post has since gained 133,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
Chris said: “Smart to install those blinds lol.”
Carmen joked: “You have to pay extra for the view.”

Ry added: “At least you can get some sunlight.”
Kieran said: “I thought it was foggy at first.”

Someone else joked: “They were going with a non-claustrophobic motif.”
Marie added: “Dang they did you dirty.”

But she says she has had some great views in the past and just made a light joke of the situation.
Angela, from Idaho, US added: “As a flight attendant I paid nothing.
“Hotel employees have told me that they try to give us good views when they can, which I truly appreciate.
“In the past I’ve been upgraded to suites and enjoyed balconies and fireplaces.
“We get kind of spoiled that way.
“I didn’t talk to the hotel, but I asked the rest of the crew if they had the same view I did.
“I think they got parking lot views, which made my view feel special.”
