A footballer suffered a red-faced mishap and nosedived over an advertising board by the side of the pitch.
The player was unable to stop his run as he ran to try and score.
He went over the fence and did a 180-degree flip.

The footballer ended up on his back.
He could be seen with his head in his hands as he rolled over onto his side.
The footballer was playing for DVV Davo, based in Deventer, east of Amsterdam, Netherlands,
People watching the game emerged from behind the fence to see if he was okay.
Many were concerned for the player, as reported by What’s The Jam.

One supporter, Rachel – who filmed it -confirmed he had suffered bruises to his ribs but was okay.
As well as worried viewers, many also made jokes.
A DVV Davo spokesperson said: “Next time score first.

“Then fly.”
One fan added: “Man, don’t choose between football and gymnastics.”

Thijs said: “Who would put a fence there anyway?”
“Somebody said, do a flip,” added another.

Another person said: “Even the goalkeeper was surprised.”
