A lazy anaconda has been spotted hitching a lift on the back of a mini alligator.
The cheeky snake was stretched out on top of the gator as it took to the water from the riverbank.
The alligator then paddled through the shallow water with the anaconda on its back, apparently unbothered by the slippery stowaway.

The incredible encounter was filmed by fishermen in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso, west of Brasilia, Brazil.
The yellow anaconda, also known as the Paraguayan anaconda, was spotted riding on the back of a spectacled caiman – part of the gator family.
One of the fishermen said: “Here in the Pantanal, an anaconda was coiled around a caiman.
“I believe in God the Father.
“Here in the jungle, one animal swallows another.

“Only God can free us from this place too.”
Although caimans and anacondas often compete for the same food in the Pantanal’s ecosystem, the video apparently showed a rare example of peaceful coexistence.
Locals gave a mixed reaction, as reported by What’s The Jam.

One joked: “The real-life Timon & Pumbaa of the Amazon.”
Another added: “That anaconda is dead, it’s just the caiman’s lunchbox.”

“The gator is carrying its food on its back,” said someone else.
Another added: “Maybe the anaconda is high on drugs and the gator is taking him home?”
Johainny quipped: “He ordered a caiman taxi.”
