World Cup winner Lucas Hernandez had his home broken while he was away with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The raid was thwarted by his new £20,000, eight stone guard dog.
The £300,000-a-week star’s girlfriend Victoria Triay Klein was in at the time and was left “screaming for her life.”

The couple’s black Presa Canario dog – which she compares to a gorilla – protected them and scared off the intruders.
The couple live in Yvelines on the outskirts of the French capital.
Cops descended on their semi-rural mansion after an emergency call.
Hernandez, 28, was 610 miles away in Salzburg, Austria, with PSG when the break-in happened yesterday (10 Dec).
The £37million defender – with 37 international caps – made his long-awaited comeback after a seven-month lay-off after doing his anterior cruciate ligament.

The French ace – who won the World Cup in 2018 with Les Bleus – came off the bench in the 82nd minute in the 3-0 win over RB Salzburg.
Victoria moved to the five-star £2,100-a-night Hotel Plaza Athenee – part of The Dorchester luxury chain after the horror ordeal.
She hailed their hulking dog and said: “Shout out to our hero.”

Argentine model Victoria, 35 – who got engaged to ex-Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid star Hernandez – in July – shared videos of the menacing canine.
The WAG included gorilla emojis.
The couple got the dog from UK-based Elite Protection Dogs.
The company has 35 years experience training canines for the rich and famous.
They charge up to £20,000 for their services.
It supplied the dog to the couple just five months ago.
An Elite Protection Dogs spokesperson told What’s The Jam: “Lucas Hernandez and family were the victims of a break-in.
“The good news is our dog saved everyone.
That is really what has happened, my dog.
“A bad guy came inside the property, inside the house
“The dog scared them off.”
Victoria watched the game on TV with private chef Gustavo.
She said: “Excuse my voice.
“I was screaming for my life earlier today.”
After watching her footballer fiancé come off the bench, she gushed: “Seven months and we are back.
“So proud of you.”
In February, it was revealed Arsenal stopper David Raya had an XL Bully supplied by Elite Protection Dogs.
The breed is banned in the UK but the Premier League goalie has an exception certificate.
In December 2022, Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez got a Belgian Malinois from the company.
He got the dog to protect his World Cup winners medal he won that month with Argentina.
Other footballer clients include former Chelsea and England defender Ashley Cole and ex-Tottenham star Hugo Lloris.
Heavyweight boxing champ Tyson Fury has also used them.
