A modern-day Santa has left bundles of cash around a city centre to help struggling locals during the festive season.
Travel influencer ‘Vagamundo’ shared a series of videos under the title: “Merry Christmas to whoever finds it.”
In one clip, he is seen holding a wad of cash wrapped in plastic on a bustling city square.

He places the money on a flowerbed and then covers it with a rock.
Other videos show the generous influencer placing cash in holes in walls and under rocks lying on the pavement.
He carried out the giveaway in Tegucigalpa in his home country of Honduras.
One of the locations was identified as Central Park in the capital city.
Vagamundo posted the clips on TikTok for his 70,000 followers.

Four videos have been viewed over 500,000 times and garnered thousands of comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “I saw a lot of people looking for something there in the park today.”
Mario wrote: “I took a taxi directly to the park, but when I arrived someone got there before me.”

Lesly remarked: “I just turned my camera on and in that very moment, someone took it.”
Linda commented: “Please let me know next time so I can be on the lookout.”
Mauro claimed: “I found one!”
Fabian said: “Me seeing this at 1.47am while broke and hungry.”
With over half the population living in poverty, Honduras is one of the poorest countries in Latin America with one of the world’s highest murder rates.
