An influencer has left her fans shocked after consuming pig feed in a bid to save money.
Kong Yufeng, better known as ‘King Kong Liuke’ online, reportedly purchased a large bag of the animal food for a tenner.
She then shared a video of herself opening and eating the product, with the clip getting millions of views.

In another video, she states her intention to live on as little money as possible.
The influencer, who graduated from one of China’s top art schools, the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, doesn’t disclose specific reasons for this, such as whether it is due to financial hardship or simply a money challenge.
Pig feed costs approximately just 30p per day, depending on how much is consumed, as reported by What’s The Jam.
“It’s all high-protein, low-fat and completely natural,” she claims.
“Isn’t this healthier than takeaway food?”

The influencer, who has 2.8 million followers on the Chinese social media platform, Douyin, describes the feed to have a “milky oatmeal smell” as she empties some of it into a bowl.
She then mixes her pig feed with water.
Pig feed usually contains ingredients such as soybeans, peanuts, sesame, corn and added vitamins.

Soon after tasting the meal, the influencer gives her verdict.
“It’s so salty! A bit sour too,” Kong said.
“I cannot stand it.
“I need to drink more water.
“Do not do this unless you’re extremely poor.”
Despite the flavour, Kong decides to continue on with her challenge, saying she intends to keep up with the diet for a week.
Viewers have been left shocked at Kong’s challenge.
One person said: “There is no lower limit for vulgarity.”
Another viewer added: ‘It is said that the challenge costs less. A 2 yuan catty of rice can be cooked for a few days. Can’t it be eaten with a pickled vegetable?
‘The nutritional ratio of soybean meal-based feed is still very reasonable. Some countries buy it back as nutritional powder,” added a third user.
Someone else commented: “But I’m really curious about whether it can be eaten.”
Kong started the challenge at the end of October.
