Wayne Rooney hit the bar and gatecrashed a pub quiz.
The ex-England hero dropped in just as the questions started.
But he didn’t join the game as he was too late.
The former Manchester United striker and BBC Euro 2024 pundit visited the Seco Lounge cafe bar, in Plymouth, Devon.

Rooney, 38, has just become manager of the city’s football club Plymouth Argyle FC.
He happily posed with quizmaster Chun on Monday (1 Jul) after dropping in with friends.
A spokesperson for Seco Lounge said: “It’s only Wayne Roooneeey crashing our Monday night quiz.
“There’s no escaping the footy madness even for our quizmaster Chun.”

They told What’s The Jam: “He didn’t do the quiz, he arrived shortly after it started.
“But he did stay with us all night
“He was great honestly.

“Lots of people were excited to see him as it was also our quiz night.
“Many of our customers understandably wanted to say ‘Hi’ and grab a photo and he was great about it.
“He was more than happy to say ‘Hi’ to whoever approached him.”
Local Suzie Wilkinson said: “Rooney, Rooney!.”
Mike Lee joked: “Football question, did a team managed by Wayne Rooney beat Plymouth Argyle?”
Matthew Silk said: “This is fantastic.”
Chun is a local teacher.
Nat Jane said: “Wayne Rooney with my daughter’s old primary teacher.”
Rachel Curtis added: “Rooney you got to meet a legend of a teacher.”
