Ewbank’s, located in Woking, Surrey, is facilitating the auction.
A spokesperson from the auction house explained, “London taxi drivers were tasked with gathering autographs on pound notes from celebrities whenever they ferried a paying celebrity passenger.
These autographs were compiled into three distinct books, and funds were subsequently raised through the sale of raffle tickets at the trades annual show in Battersea Park.”
“The vendor, fortunate to have won the collection, has kept it within the family since.
The folder comprises 28 numbered pages complete with a comprehensive index,” the spokesperson shared.
