A James Bond-style ‘sea car’ has made a splash as it cruised along the coast at speeds of over 60mph.
The Vehigh model is manufactured by the American company Seacar.
The amphibious vehicle has been turning heads along the Brazilian coast in recent weeks.
Two Vehigh water cars were spotted on the coast of Caixa d’Aço, Santa Catarina State, on 17 December, becoming a hit on social media.
The area is a popular meeting spot with boaters and thrill seekers.
One clip shows a red Vehigh arriving on the beach and stopping next to a white model.
In another video, the two water cars are seen parked on the shoreline in front of several anchored yachts.
One local commented: “I’m going to buy a red one!”
Rodrigo said: “Very beautiful, and a genius idea.”
Henrique wrote: “Very cool, top!”
The water cars also wowed onlookers at the Foz International Boat Show in Itajaí, Santa Catarina State, at the end of November.
In Brazil, prices start at BRL 380,000 (£61,220).
Company director James Góes told Jam Press: “The driver feels like he is in a robust, comfortable and fast car.
“The sea car was designed to provide excellent navigability, both in calm waters and in the water.”
The Vehigh can reach speeds of up to 100kph (62mph).
The model is made of graphene fiber and boasts a 200 hp engine.
The water car measures 13 feet in length and combines luxury and elegance with high performance.
Góes said: “It is a new nautical concept for Brazil, ideal for those who enjoy experiences on the water and adrenaline.
“We believe the market is lacking differences in terms of vessels.
“In addition to being stylish, Seacar Company boats have an excellent level of resistance.”
