The shocking moment a giraffe tried to snatch a toddler from a safari car has been shared.
Sierra Robert and partner Jason Toten were travelling with their two-year-old daughter Paisley when the incident took place.
Visiting Fossil Rim Safari in Glen Rose, Texas for a family day out, Sierra, 23 and Jason, 24, encouraged little Paisley to feed the giraffe from her hand.

But the animal suddenly reaches down and plucks the tot out of the car, using its teeth to hold her by the T-shirt.
“My heart stopped,” Jason told What’s The Jam of the incident, which took place last Saturday (1 June).
“We went just to have a family day out of the house and Paisley and her mother were riding in the bed of the truck to feed the animals.
“When we got to the giraffe, they ate all the food we had and then went to take the bag of food and it accidentally grabbed Paisley’s shirt and picked her up.”
Luckily, the animal soon realised it’s mistake and dropped the tot, uninjured, back into the car.
Jason added: “It scared me but after it was all over, we realised everyone was safe and unharmed, and we laughed about it.
“All Paisley wanted after that was a toy giraffe and giraffe T-shirt from the gift shop, so we got them for her and we will definitely be revisiting in the future!”
