A shocked man woke up to find a venomous cobra in his boxer shorts.
It’s believed the long snake slithered into his underpants to seek warmth as he lay on his mattress.
Two animal rescue officers were called to the man’s home in Thailand’s Rayong Province as worried locals formed a crowd outside.

As the officers entered the man’s room, he remained deathly still so as not to provoke the dangerous reptile.
With the slightest of movements, he pointed to the spot below his waist where the serpent had nestled.
With a torch in one hand, one of the officers carefully slid a snake catcher up the reclining man’s briefs on the outside of his right leg.
Seconds later, he pulled the tool back out with the feet-long cobra coiled by the tail around the metal hook.
The cobra flicked its forked tongue out as its head finally emerged moments later, as reported on What’s The Jam.
It was quickly put into a cinch bag, which was pulled shut as the relieved man finally moved again.
One of the rescuers confirmed on social media that the specimen was highly venomous.
