Fancy swapping your car for a space-age pod that glides across the waves?
Designers in Rome have unveiled the Jet Capsule – a futuristic floating motorised pod that promises to turn heads at sea.
Lazzarini Design Studios says their mini-yachts can be customised to suit every need – with prices starting at a cool £271,849 (€315,000).

The entry-level Jet Capsule offers a floating footprint of 18sqm, with room for nine plush seats and even a small bar.
But for those with deeper pockets, the Jet Capsule Zero costs £379,709 (€440,000).

It has the same luxury set-up – plus a zero-emissions mode, letting sailors cruise silently for up to two hours without pumping out pollution.
Splashing the same cash also gets you the Royal Jet Capsule – a tailor-made version where buyers can pick everything from interior materials to exterior livery.
Lazzarini boasts that the Royal reinvents water transport by “combining luxury and sustainability within a compact package”, as reported by Whats The Jam.

Powering the pods is a beefy Yanmar Diesel motor, churning out 370mhp – making these bubble-like boats as punchy as they are posh.
The designers claim the Jet Capsule series has set “a new quality standard” in the world of high-end water taxis and water limousines.
