Footage shows Reykon’s hair ablaze for several seconds, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The accident took place during the Festival of San Juan and San Pedro festivals in Neiva, located southwest of the Colombian capital, Bogotá, on Sunday (30 Jun).
The event included Latin music artists such as Jhonny Rivera, Jessi Uribe, Guayacán Orquesta, Karen Lizarazo and Grupo Baché.
After managing to put out the flames, Reykon reportedly finished his set and received medical treatments afterwards.
Two doctors then checked over the singer backstage.
A damp towel was apparently placed over Reykon’s left shoulder as a medic checked his ear and neck area.
The singer – who fought boxer Joe Fournier on the Jake Paul v Ben Askren undercard in 2021 – did not suffer any serious injuries.
He has yet to make a statement about the incident on his Instagram page where he boasts 6.8m followers.
Reykon, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Robledo Londoño, comes from Envigado in Colombia.
He is considered one of the biggest stars on the reggaeton scene.
