A grandmother who just finished breast cancer treatment has won £4m on a lottery scratchcard.
Donna Osborne, 76, bought her winning ticket from a service station after a delayed flight prompted her to give up, leave the airport and drive home.
She purchased the £39 ($50) Monopoly Own It All scratchcard at a break stop and won £3.95m ($5m), as reported by What’s the Jam.

Osborne, from Lancaster County in Pennsylvania, US, explained: “I was at the airport with my daughter.
“We were on our way to see family in Florida when the flight got delayed.
“It was delayed so many times, I decided to go home.
“My daughter stayed and flew to Florida.”
Donna, who just finished radiation treatment for breast cancer, added: “If I didn’t leave the airport, I would have never bought that ticket.”
She stopped at the Speedway petrol station on Oregon Pike in Leola.
Donna scratched off the card in the car park and “couldn’t believe her eyes”.
She told Pennsylvania Lottery: “I went back into the store and said – can you please check this? Is it right or wrong?’
“Well, the clerk said ‘it’s right’.”
Osborne, who has great-grandchildren, said she has not plans of retiring from her work providing transport for members of the Amish community.
She added: “I don’t know what I’d do with myself, I have to keep moving.
“I think I’ll invest some of the prize, sure, but then go to Alaska!”
