A woman who paid £2 for a ‘surprise’ Morrisons bakery bag has been blown away by its contents.
Elmi was after some cheap treats when she bought the Too Good To Go bag, a supermarket initiative which combats food waste by gifting a surplus of produce at a vastly reduced price.
But for less than a cup of coffee, the 24-year-old managed to nab herself two full bakery bags brimming with sweet and savoury goods.

In fact, the Morrisons worker who handed the order over, called Elmi the “luckiest person ever” as they had never seen a stash so good.
Waste-conscious, Elmi, scored chocolate chip cookies, toffee yum yums, raspberry and chocolate mini doughnuts, iced ring doughnuts, strawberry doughnuts, a lemon cake slice, Portuguese custard tarts, cream chouc buns, blueberry muffins, fruit scones, chocolate twists and Belgian buns.
But that’s not all.
She also found ciabatta, sourdough and a cheese and onion quiche thrown in for good measure.
“I was extremely happy with the contents and was mostly surprised with the quiche because I didn’t expect to be in the bakery bag,” Elmi, a content creator from London, told What’s The Jam.
“I was excited to try all the items I’d never tried before.
“And I’m glad all this food was given a chance thanks to Too Good To Go because I am conscious of the impact food waste has on the environment.
“I was surprised by the amount of things, as it was two full bags of bakery products.
“On the app, it said the bag was worth £6 but I was really lucky and got a surprise bag worth way more.”
Taking to TikTok (@elmiiisworld), Elmi shared her findings.
And users couldn’t believe their eyes:
One user said: “Omg slay, I love too good to go.”
Neha joined in: “Wow I need all of that right now.”
Marium said: “STOP IM DOWNLOADING THE APP AGAIN.”
Sharjeel said:”Oh I need to go then.”
Talking about her video, Elmi added: “When I posted the video, some people already knew about too good to go and had good experiences.
“While others found out about it and were excited to try the app to save up and salvage food.
“I would definitely purchase it again.”
