A signed copy of Sir John Major’s autobiography has flopped in a charity auction.
The first edition of the ex-Prime Minister’s memoirs sold for just £13.50.
It’s cheaper than buying one without his autograph.
It normally costs £20 on Amazon but currently has a 25% discount making it £15.

But the signed version of the book – simply called John Major: The Autobiography – went for £1.50 less.
It ended up in the British Heart Foundation’s charity bin in Leeds, West Yorks.
It then put it up for sale on eBay for £9.99.
But the former Conservative leader’s book only attracted five bids in the online auction.
There was one of £10, then £11, before one bidder cheekily went to £11.25.
The book – with Major’s squiggle in the inside page – then got one more for £13 before the winning bid.
The auction finished on Tuesday (30 Apr), as reported by What’s The Jam.
The hardback came out in 1999, two years after Major, now 81, was succeeded at No 10 by Tony Blair.
It was desired as being in a “very good” state.
The listing read: “Cover and sleeve are in good clean condition.
“Pages show only slight fading and discolouration**.”**
Major was PM for seven years after taking over from Margaret Thatcher.
