Noel Gallagher’s old guitar sold for £24,000 at auction.
The Oasis star played the Grand-Suzuki Hummingbird backstage before a gig in Amsterdam in January 2009.
Just seven months later the band split up.

The signed guitar was only worth about £500 brand new.
Lead guitarist and songwriter Noel, 58, and lead singer brother Liam have reformed.
Oasis – whose hits include Wonderwall – are going on stadium tour across the UK, with the gigs starting next month.
The brothers were heading for rehersals yesterday
The guitar was sold by Julien’s Auctions in Los Angeles, California, US.
The listing reads: “A photo-matched Grand-Suzuki Hummingbird guitar, used and owned by Noel Gallagher during his time in iconic British band Oasis.
“This guitar was originally obtained from Gallagher’s personal collection and was used to warm up and jam backstage.
“Wear near the sound hole and patterns on the pickguard can be matched to a Mick Hutson photograph of Gallagher holding the guitar backstage at an Oasis concert in Amsterdam on 21 January 2009.
The guitar is signed by Noel Gallagher on the back of the headstock in silver felt tip pen.”
It sold for £24,028 ($32,500) last Saturday (31 May), as reported on What’s The Jam.
The estimate was £22,178 ($30,000).
Other lots included a series of handwritten lyrics from their 1995 album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?
They include the words to Don’t Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova.
It was only set to fetch £5,911 ($8,000) but went for £16,552 ($22,400).
Liam’s old Gianni Versace jacket was bought for £1,200 ($1,625).
A promotional poster from 1996 sold for £336 ($455).
Signed photos were snapped up for £288 ($390) and a pair of Noel’s brown trousers for £277 ($375).
