Lidl is launching a limited-edition sun cream inspired by Pitbull as thousands of fans prepare to transform themselves into the rapper during his UK tour.
The supermarket has temporarily renamed its Cien SPF 30 Sun Spray “Mr SPF 30.5”, warning that fake bald heads – and real ones – can leave scalps particularly vulnerable to harmful UV rays.
The limited-edition product comes after the rapper’s concerts inspired fans to dress as “Mr Worldwide”, complete with suits, sunglasses and shiny bald caps.

Just 2,500 Mr Bald-wide bundles will go on sale from 10am on 6 July for £3.05, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Each includes Lidl’s special-edition Mr SPF 30.5 sun spray, a pair of UV-protective aviator sunglasses and a Lidl Plus voucher giving shoppers 30% off Cien sun creams and sprays.
All proceeds will be donated to SKCIN to help fund skin cancer awareness and prevention work.
Research highlighted by the charity shows skin cancer is the UK’s most common and fastest-rising cancer, with one in four men and one in six women expected to develop non-melanoma skin cancer caused by excessive UV exposure.
Marie Tudor, CEO of SKCIN, said: “At SKCIN, we’re driven to amplify the awareness of skin cancer causes and prevention.
“While bald caps might be the must-have accessory for fans channelling their inner Mr. Worldwide this summer, it’s important to remember that our scalps are particularly vulnerable to the sun’s harmful UV rays, as the head is one of the most common areas affected.
“One in four men will be diagnosed with a form of skin cancer during their lifetime, so education of these issues can help us prevent 90% of the cases, and treat or cure 98% of skin cancer in Brits.”
Fans travelling to Pitbull’s London concert on 10 July will also be able to pick up free bottles of the renamed sun spray at London Victoria Station while stocks last.
