Santa has returned to his festive-themed Boeing 747 this year for the ‘Flight Before Christmas’ experience.
The former British Airways jet is back and better than ever, featuring new boarding passes and Christmas-themed activities on board.
This year Santa has ditched his usual sleigh and reindeer for a huge jet stationed at Cotswold Airport.
The cabin has been fully decked out with festive decorations including (fake) snow, real Christmas trees, and a Northern Lights-inspired display.
Passengers will pass through a ‘naughty or nice’ security check-in desk before boarding Captain Saint Nicholas’ impressive grotto.
After getting through security, guests will receive their own ‘North Pole Passport’ and boarding passes.
Peppermint, the mischievous elf, will host an in-flight safety briefing before the experience begins.
During the experience, guests will be guided through the plane by their own personal elf.
All passengers are able to meet and take a photo with Father Christmas at his workshop.
The magic starts upon purchase for the children, who will receive a video invite from Santa.
During the experience, the kids will take part in activities such as reindeer food making, teddy bear building and a gingerbread biscuit decorating class.
Whilst receiving a letter to Father Christmas stationery set, a candy cane, a wish token and a gift from the jolly man himself.
Each family will receive a printed photo of themselves with Santa.
Adults will be treated to mince pie and mulled wine, too, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The jumbo jet grotto experience was created through a collaboration between Cotswold Airport and Odin Events.
The experience will run from 23 November to Christmas Eve 2024.
Early bird tickets at £29 per person whilst babies (under 12 months) will get in for free.
A spokesperson for the Flight Before Christmas stated: “The Flight Before Christmas is back! We are so excited to welcome you on board Negus 747 for another year packed full of Christmas magic!
“New for 2024, The Flight Before Christmas has been fully revamped, including new characters, activities, and completely new sections that you and your family can immerse yourself in.”
