A determined cyclist rode through a heavily flooded road with water reaching her knees, even after being swamped by a passing car.
The woman in red coat and black trousers, captured on camera, persevered through the area of flash flooding.
Dirty brown water had accumulated under a bridge, putting off motorists and forcing cyclists to move to a footpath elevated well above the road.

However, a video showed the doughty woman cycling knee-deep in the water as a white car plunged through the water beside her, with difficulty.
She carried on regardless until she emerged from the flood, apparently unbothered.
It happened on Heath Road, Twickenham, London, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Junior Adigo, who saw the brave cyclist perservering, said: “It was a surprise.
“Some cars had turned around to avoid the flood.
“The lady on the bike decided to ride straight through it as if it were nothing.
“She just pushed on without a second thought even as the passing car sent waves her way
“The dip there is hard enough in normal conditions because of its steep slope, so with floodwater it felt even more daring.
“I found myself cheering for her.
“She made it through, didn’t even glance at the crowd, and simply carried on her way.
