A rare deep-sea fish has washed up on a beach with a belly full of its prey.
The bizarre-looking creature was discovered on Seaside Beach in Oregon, US.
The longnose lancetfish was nearly 5ft long with fang-like teeth and a sail-like dorsal fin.

The creature lives in the deep ocean’s “Twilight Zone” and is rarely seen on land.
The unusual find was brought to the attention of Seaside Aquarium staff by a visitor who showed them a photo.
Aquarium workers rushed to collect the specimen before scavenging birds could get to it.
The fish’s stomach contents revealed a gruesome mix of squid, octopus and smaller fish.
Lancetfish are known for their slow digestion, which gives scientists a rare glimpse into their diet.
The aquarium later shared images of the fish’s stomach contents online.
The creature was found on 22 April.
