The flying saucer sighting took place on 16 Mar.
The lights were visible for around seven minutes as they travelled west from the northeast.
Eyewitnesses described the sightings as ‘unusual’ and that the lights were ‘unlike ordinary aircraft or stars’.
The footage has racked up over 5,000 views on social media so far, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The incident happened in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India.
Although no official explanation has been given, many punters believe they may have cracked the code.
While some believe the phenomenon could be alien-related, other viewers say that the lights were likely caused by a rocket launch thousands of miles away.
One person said: “Okay this one for sure looks like some kind of rocket now the ones that people saw over Turkey and Australia today were some kind of meteors or potentially something else.”
One other person said: “Probably, ICBM fired from a US base.”
Another person said: “That’s a rocket.”
One person added: “That’s very common during rocket launches.”
