A psychic medium claims she is so in tune with the spirits that they stand at the foot of her bed and rearrange her kids’ toys.
Chloe Smith says she is visited by ghosts almost every day but it really ramps up around Halloween.
The mum-of-three claims spirits loom over her while she sleeps, plays with her children’s Lego bricks, and interrupts her daily chores.
But she doesn’t mind because she knows they mean no harm.
“I feel spirits of not only past loved ones but pets too,” Chloe, from Ashbourne, Derbyshire, told What’s The Jam.
“They make themselves known with the creeks in the night.
“Halloween is the awakening to the dead and I feel it.”
Chloe claims while there is a lot of energy circulating on Halloween, there’s nothing to be afraid of.
She said: “You hear the word Halloween and you think of all the spooky creatures of the world but nothing can do anything to you.
“If anything, they just miss you and want to make you aware that they are okay.
“But as the whisper of the dead comes closer and the signs become stronger, that makes people feel anxious.
“For me, more and more spirits surround me because I am naturally more open to listening to the dead on Halloween.”
Chloe says she believes the spirits come forward with signs to prove that there is life after death, but they can be “playful” too.
She said: “I’ve been followed. I’ve woken to spirits at the end of my bed.
“But it’s okay because they can’t hurt me.
“I just turn over and go back to sleep or ignore them.
“One Halloween, I started packing the Lego off the floor that the children had been playing with the night before, only to walk back in the room five minutes later and find the Lego had been rebuilt into a house.
“The ghosts sure love to play, that’s for sure.”
Chloe says the spirits even interrupt her while she is doing housework.
She said: “The housework never ends and the whispers of spirits are always grabbing my attention.”
