A colour-mad gran has spent six months covering her entire VW Beetle in eye-catching crochet.
Ana Lúcia Vergetti came up with the bonkers idea to advertise her haberdashery business.
The 66-year-old says the time consuming project took a lot of patience but she was left over the moon with the results.
The grandmother-of-six spent half a year working on the pattern which covers her entire vehicle.

She used different wool to create lots of different coloured squares.
Ana, of Alagoas, north east of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil even added adorable finishes including flowers and an owl on the front of the car.
The pensioner, who also has two great-grandchildren, covered every inch of the car in her bright crochet pattern – including the wing mirrors.
She then glued the crochet cover onto her VW Beetle.
The design fits the car like a glove and covers the top of the wheels, the windows and headlights.
Ana even covered the interior in crotchet and made a colourful cover for her seats, dashboard and steering wheel.
Now, the grandmother loves to drive her crazy car around everywhere she goes.
But she admits she is constantly stopped so people can take pictures of her wacky motor.
Ana told What’s The Jam: “I’ve always been a craftswoman, since I was 10 years old I’ve been doing handicrafts and crochet exclusively.
”I crochet an average of 10 hours a day.
”I love my Beetle and I use it as my business card.
”My grandchildren love my Volkswagen Beetle.”
Locals are obsessed with Ana’s creation.
Luana Braga da Silva said: ”Adorable.”
Andréia Torres said: “In love.”
”Your Beetle is beautiful,” said another person, called Melina.
