A bride who hired a witch to banish bad weather claims it turned her rainy wedding forecast into perfect sunshine.
Nicole Wallach was so desperate to avoid a downpour on her big day that she turned to an unusual source – and claims the trick worked like magic.
The 29-year-old and her groom, Reed, 28, were expecting 400 guests for a lavish wedding, but the forecast looked grim.

For the price of just £11.30, the sorceress – who offers her services on Etsy – cast a spell to keep the skies clear.
“From the moment we chose a July date, I knew weather could be a factor,” Nicole told What’s The Jam.
“I checked the forecast obsessively for months – it was driving me crazy.
“I eventually decided to invest in the Etsy witch.
“I found her through TikTok and the reviews people were posting.
“There were no guarantees, but I didn’t care.
“It wasn’t a huge expense, and I wanted to do everything I could to ensure the day would be what I envisioned – even if it sounded a little crazy to some people.”
Nicole contacted the Etsy witch on 29 May and handed over her name, birthday and details of what she wanted the spell to achieve.
When placing the custom spell order, she said: Please cast a spell for my wedding weekend to be beautiful weather – no rain! July 4, 2025, and July 5, 2025. Thank you!”
The witch quickly got to work, but warned that it could take up to four weeks to fully manifest.
Just a day before the wedding, things still looked bleak, with weather apps warning of showers across the weekend.
But almost overnight, everything changed.
As guests began to arrive for the couple’s welcome party in Nicole’s family garden, there was no rain in sight.
The next morning, the skies were still completely clear in Livingston, New Jersey – with local radio even declaring 4-5 July two of the best weather days of the year.
She added, “Honestly, I’m a believer.
“I fully trusted the Etsy witch.
“It might sound wild, but I told everyone about her!
“Friday’s weather was perfect – sunny, 26C, not a cloud in the sky and just the right amount of breeze.
“Saturday’s forecast had been mixed in the days leading up: first it said rain, then clouds… but it ended up being another beautiful day.
“People were amazed – and so many of them have since reached out asking for her info.
“I’m really glad I did it.
“Do I know it made the difference? No.
“But it felt good to believe in something – and it worked.
“More than anything, it took the pressure off.
“I knew I had done everything I could, and if it didn’t work, it didn’t work – but it did.
“The wedding was everything I hoped it would be.”
