Stewards then caught up with him and pinned him to the turf.
The pitch invasion came late in a UEFA Nations League game at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.
The Netherlands drew 1-1 with Germany last Thursday (24 Sep).
It was the first match under new Netherlands coach Xavi Hernández.
Germany had gone ahead through Felix Nmecha in the 32nd minute.
Cody Gakpo equalised deep in stoppage time from a Ruben van Bommel pass.
Play was briefly stopped as the boy ran up to his hero Reijnders.
The former Man City midfielder appeared to play along and stood for the picture.
The fan is linked to a TikTok account that had just over 500 followers before the clip spread, as reported by What’s The Jam.
He later claimed that he had been told to delete the original selfie.
He claimed he was warned of a night in a cell and a fine of about £13,000 if he kept it up.
Police and the stadium have not confirmed that warning.
The KNVB and Ajax, who run the arena, have not issued a statement on the pitch invasion.
His real name and age have not been published.
No club ban has been announced.
