A road legal Formula 1-style car owned by racing icon Nico Rosberg is going under the hammer for £2.6m.
This hair-raising 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie was built to be a track orientated motor that can be used on the road.
The former Formula 1 World Champion had the Valkyrie delivered to him in Monaco to German specifications.

The electrifying ride is kitted out with a 6.5-litre normally aspirated V12 engine, augmented by a 120kW electric motor.
At 11,000rpm the petrol engine alone produces 1,000bhp making it the most powerful power unit ever fitted in a road legal car.
The Aston Martin has an eye-watering top speed of 220mph, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The aerodynamic look, electrifying speed and incredible engine power has given the motor the title of the ‘Formula 1 car for the street’.
The Magnetic Silver exterior of the vehicle is plastered with number ‘6’ decals, used by Rosberg during his F1 win in 2016.
Only 150 versions of the Valkyrie, designed by F1 World Championship-winning designer Adrian Newey, were ever built.
The vehicle is now up for auction with bidding ending on (29 Jun) in Chéserex, Switzerland.
Bonhams, who are hosting the sale, expect the vehicle to fetch around £2.6m.
A spokesperson for the auction house stated: “Built to German specification, this particular Valkyrie was delivered new in Monaco to former Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg on the 30th June 2022.
“Hailed by Autocar as ‘The most single-minded hypercar ever to turn a wheel,’ Aston Martin’s outrageous Valkyrie was first seen in prototype form in 2017.
“The aim was to create a track-orientated car that nevertheless would be usable on public roads.
“It would be November 2021 before the first of the 150 production models planned left the factory, this lengthy gestation testifying to the project’s considerable complexity.”
