England is set to beat DR Congo and march into the round of 16…if a bowl of “mystic mash” is to be believed.
The bizarre prediction method – which has correctly called every Three Lions result so far – is backing Thomas Tuchel’s men to win on Wednesday.
The bowl of bangers and mash has already successfully predicted wins over Croatia and Panama, as well as England’s surprise draw with Ghana.

Now self-styled football oracle Luke Symons has once again dropped his sausage into the mash to determine the outcome of England’s latest clash.
And the result will come as welcome news for nervous Three Lions supporters.
The trusty banger is once again backing England to come out on top.
While the mash has an overall tournament success rate of 47 per cent, it boasts a perfect record when it comes to predicting England’s results.
Luke admits penalty shootouts have proved to be the dish’s downfall, with several knockout shocks leaving the potato-based predictor baffled.
So far, it has correctly called just one of four Round of 32 matches, with surprise exits for Germany and the Netherlands throwing it off course.
“Unfortunately my Round of 32 has taken a hit so far with one correct and three wrong, damn penalties,” Luke, from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, told What’s The Jam.
“Obviously the England record is good so far.
“DR Congo have been playing five across the back which is most likely to happen with England.
“As England has shown they can struggle playing against a defensive side.
“However, Tuchel will know this and should put out a more forward attacking formation to counter this.
“I think the first minutes of the game will start with England containing possession but they should break through and score before the end of the first half.
“DR Congo will then have to go more attacking, leaving their defensive strategy which will lead to England countering a few more goals.
“I do also think the defense will get caught out with the lead and may let one slip.
“If I had to call it, I think 3-1 England win.”
At the time of writing, the mystic mash had correctly predicted 36 results and got 40 wrong across the tournament.
