A scared dog who is terrified of everything just like Scooby-Doo is desperate to find a new owner to love her.
Betsy – a whippet lurcher cross – has been looking for a home for almost a year – 350 days.
The two-year-old was beaten as a puppy and was taken into kennels when she was just four-months-old.
But she is petrified of things like waking up somewhere new or getting into a vehicle.

It has made it hard for her to be adopted.
But experts at the RSPCA hope that a family with another dog – like a Scrappy-Doo – might hold the key.
Betsy is currently at the Great Ayton Animal Centre, in the village Great Ayton, North Yorks.
An RSPCA spokesperson said: “Scared of everything at first.
“Betsy takes confidence from other dogs so we ideally want to re-home her to a home with a confident dog already situated.
“Hopefully this will help her come out of her shell quicker and she can learn from the other dog that life isn’t quite so scary.”
They added: “She has made great progress, but sadly there’s been very little interest in Betsy since.
Emma Cosby, Behaviour Welfare Advisor at the centre, said: “Betsy’s had a sad start to life and she lacked a lot of early socialisation that most puppies her age would have had.
“Leaving her unsure of the wider world, so we’ve done a lot of work to help build up her confidence.
“She was scared of everything at first and struggled to do certain things like walking into a room she was unfamiliar with or getting into the back of a van.
“She’s still a little nervous but she’s come a very long way.”
Betsy needs a home with a big garden but with no young children, as reported by What’s The Jam.
In the cult kids’ TV show Scooby-Doo, the title character. is a large Great Dane who is easily scared.
But he is often calmed down by the much smaller Scrappy-Doo.
