A distressed fawn has been rescued after it got stuck in a metal fence.
Firefighters used hydraulic gear to release the young deer while its anxious mother waited nearby.
A crew helped the baby deer whose hip had got stuck.

After it was freed it was reunited with its mummy.
The rescue took place in Southampton, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Local Helen Churcher said: “Heroes, all of you.”
Marie Ealding added: “I love our fire teams.
“You all have such golden hearts.”
Steve Hartley joked: “A deer, a female deer…”
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fawn was on the fence about which way to go.
“The firefighters had a good i-deer to use their hydraulic spreader equipment to bend the metal providing the space for the fawn to release itself.
“The animal returned to its mother who was waiting nearby having deer-ly missed its child, but had grown fawn-d of their firefighter heroes.”
