A head scarf-wearing dog modelling a £37 coat has left shoppers baffled.
The funny picture was taken as part of an advertising campaign for a Joules dog coat, available on Next.
But as well as the lavish khaki and brown coat, used for keeping pets warm in the winter months, the dog was also accessorising with the head scarf, a stylish purple piece with a floral design, as reports What’s The Jam.

The description reads: “This season, make sure your four-legged friend can outwit the weather in style and comfort thanks to the Kennington water-resistant coat for dogs.
“Based on a best-loved style for humans, it will ensure walking your companion has never looked so good.
“We’ve added lots of little details such as a corduroy collar and contrast colours, that really put this heritage-inspired style in a field of its own.
“Water resistant Velcro fastenings and back opening for lead or harness.”
The coat comes in three sizes and is machine washable.
But while the garment itself may be practical for the colder months, Facebook users were left scratching their heads.
One person wrote: “If your whippet is resisting wearing ‘a wee plain Aldi puffer, then perhaps put this picture from Next under the snout and they might just walk feeling a bit more thankful. This takes it to a whole new level!”
Frances said: “Oh good grief.”
Jackie added: “Poor dog.”
Another user, masquerading as a dog, said: “The head scarf you stop my big ears flapping when I run!”
Aimée joked: “Does it come with a matching shopping trolley?”
Jane said: “Needs a set of green wellies to complete the outfit,” followed by laughing emojis.
Linda added: “Are you kidding!”
Meanwhile, Facebook users continue to debate whether the look is country chic or an outfit to pop to the shops.
The dog, for his part, remains paw-sitively unbothered.
