England goalkeeper Mary Earps has pulled off another great save after she rescued a goat trapped in a fence.
The 33-year-old, whilst out on a walk, spotted an animal she believed was a ‘lamb’ with its head stuck.
The London City Lionesses star sprang into action by climbing into the bush, battling nettles and thorns.

The keeper was alerted to the goat when she heard it ‘crying’ in the bushes during her countryside walk.
Earps shared her rescue mission online on 28 Sep, as reported by What’s The Jam.
At first, the star from Nottingham, who won the UEFA Women’s Euros in 2023 with the Lionesses, struggled to find a way in.
After taking a few jabs off the thorns, she dedicated herself to putting her jumper on and made a second attempt at the rescue mission.
When she got to the goat, she could see its head was completely trapped in a wire fence.
Fortunately, she was able to free the animal’s head before exiting the bush to a nearby field.
The keeper even named the goat ‘Trevor’ and jokingly invited him round for a ‘cup of tea’.
Mary Earps said: “I’ve gone for a walk, and I don’t want to interfere with a farmer’s land or anything, but I think this lamb is stuck.
“It’s crying, and I don’t know what to do; its head is stuck in the fence.
“So I’m going to have to go through these prickles, I think.
“Trevor, I think we’ve bonded for life now.
“You want to come over for a cup of tea, Trev.
“I think that’s quite enough adventure for one day; I’m going home.”
The clip racked up over 900,000 views and left fans in stitches.
One person said: “You should call him pen, because you saved him.”
Another one wrote: “Another great save from Mary Earps.”
One other added: “The GOAT meets the GOAT.”
One viewer said: “Not all heroes wear capes.”
Another person commented: “As a farmer you did the right thing. Never gave up on Trev.”
