A “fast and strong” piglet has given officers the runaround after escaping from its owner.
The cheeky swine, named Pickles, was spotted running along a highway.
The owner was busy cleaning the animal’s poo on the backseat of her car when the porker made a break for it.

With the help of several bystanders, cops chased the animal for “multiple city blocks”.
Around 20 people were involved the rescue, including a local man with a large fishing net.
In the clip, Pickles can be seen scurrying through a car park and residential cul-de-sac.
The police said the pig “proved to be very fast and strong for an animal of its size”.
They eventually cornered the piggy perpetrator in Soll Court in the city of Sebastopol, located north of San Francisco in the US.
A police spokesperson said the troublesome animal was then “taken into custody”, as reported by What’s the Jam.
They added: “The pig, later identified as ‘Pickles’, was reunited with his mother at the scene.
“Officers Whitehall and Thomas used discretion and elected not to charge Pickles with 148(a)(1) PC – Resisting a peace officer.
“Instead, we felt it was beneficial to just admonish Pickles for running from officers!”
One local commented: “Are you sure he wasn’t greased?”
Ray said: “Prolly best video on the internet this week.”
L. Mattock Scariot wrote: “I’m Pickles’ owner, a big thank you to the Sebastopol Police Department for all your help.
“Pickles is now home in Gilroy and we couldn’t be happier.”
She added that she had just bought the piglet as a pet on the day of its daring escape.
The incident took place on 13 June.
