An elated mother has been reunited with her long lost cat who has been missing for the past ten years.
Claire Crenion thought she would never see Jefferie – or Jeff for short – again.
She escaped after her front door was left unlocked.

Jefferie vanished on 4 November 2014, leaving Claire, then 26, heartbroken.
Horse groom Claire spent countless hours making posters, posting online and searching for the cat, with no luck at all.
But out-of-the-blue she received the call she had been waiting on for the past decade stating that her moggy had been found.
The 36-year-old, of St Helier, Jersey, moved to Plymouth, Devon in 2015.
She updated her microchip with her new address.
Claire then went back to Jersey in 2020.
Jefferie was found near her home by kind-hearted local Dru Burdon on Tuesday (15 Oct).
Claire told What’s The Jam: “I’m very relieved to know she’s okay after all these years.
“I was very upset when she went missing, she was rather unique.
“She would sit on my shoulders and suck my ear lobes and she also used to go for dog walks.
“I’d recently moved and she was in the settling-in process and the front door hadn’t been locked.
“One morning she was clawing at the door and managed to open it and she scarpered and that was the last time I saw her ten years ago.”
Claire added: “I lost my dad in April this year, so the news of finding out that Jeff is still alive and well was a big shock.
“I got a phone call on Tuesday morning from my current vets explaining that Jean Faulk who runs a cat charity has been in touch.
“As my details have been attached to a cat who was missing ten years ago with the cat’s name Jefferie.”
