A dopey dog plunged into a 10ft deep sinkhole while chasing his favourite ball.
Bruno the Border Collie was on his daily walk in the park with his owner when he went on the chase.
But the ground crumbled underfoot while the pooch was running and he plummeted into the hole.
An eyewitness told local media: “They take him for a walk every day.

“They threw him the ball and suddenly, while he was still running, the ground sank by three metres.”
A group of locals gathered at the Ramón López Velarde Garden, in the Mexican capital Mexico City, to rescue the pooch on Monday (15 Jul).
They brought ropes and ladders and started the rescue operation.
The authorities arrived on the scene, after receiving a report about the sinkhole, where they came across the helpful locals and poor Bruno at the bottom of the hole.
After a while, the pooch was safely rescued and returned to his concerned owner.
Footage shows a firefighter carrying Bruno out of the hole before he is greeted by an excited woman, presumably his owner.
However, residents remain concerned about the sinkhole which has yet to be filled in.
They said the park area has been cordoned off with plastic barriers, but pets could still fall in.
The ground opened up following a prolonged period of heavy rainfall in the Roma Sur area, as reported by What’s the Jam.
It remains unclear if the rescue team managed to retrieve Bruno’s favourite ball.
