A bizarre, fluffy insect has gone viral after people compared it to US President Donald Trump and his infamous hairdo.
Found deep in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador, the strange caterpillar looks like a giant ball of fuzz and has left viewers both fascinated and baffled.
The Yachana Foundation, which works to support local communities and protect wildlife, shared a video of the creature online.

The group, founded in 1991, helps preserve the region’s flora and fauna.
“I honestly don’t know what it is,” the foundation’s founder, Douglas McMeekin, told What’s The Jam.
“I mean, I know more or less what it is, it’s a caterpillar, a moth or a night moth.
“It’s fascinating, this creature with all this sort of hair around it.”
Experts believe it belongs to the flannel moth family, a group known for its fluffy orange appearance.
Some have even nicknamed it the “Trumpapillar” because of its striking resemblance to Trump’s trademark barnet.
The Yachana Foundation’s clip racked up 753,000 views, 65,100 likes and 453 comments as viewers rushed to share their thoughts.
One person joked: “Trump’s hairpiece has grown legs and made a break for it.”
Another said: “I’m in Florida and we have a similar type called an Asp Caterpillar. The nerve pain from them is crippling, yet they look like a fluffy friend.”
One user added: “That’s a baby Chewbacca.”
Another quipped: “If not huggable then why hug shaped?”
One person said: “He’s beautiful! I’d love to see him as a moth!”
