Incredible footage of an orca joining a couple underwater has been shared online.
Allie Vautin, a content creator, and her pal were gliding under the waves on a subwing when they noticed they were being followed.
As they looked behind, they realised they’d been joined by an orca, also known as a killer whale.
Unphased, the duo continued coasting with the acqua beast alongside, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A subwing is a waterboard made of two wings connected in the middle.
It is towed along by a boat allowing the person holding on to glide through the water, steering it as they go.
In the clip, taken in Mexico in August, Allie’s friend can be seen holding the board as she holds him by the waist.
The pair are looking straight ahead at first before noticing the whale.
All three continue to swim before the orca veers off to go its own way.
Allie captioned the video: “Do you ever get the feeling like something is following you?
“Still can’t believe this day!
“This curious dude came out of no where to check us out… subwinging with an orca, whaaatttt!?”
The clip has gathered over 9.6 million views, 233,000 likes and 2,000 comments from fans.
