A married couple have revealed that strangers mistake them for brothers because they look so alike.
James Lewis-Meek, 40, and husband Anthony Lewis-Meek, 35, say they’re asked almost daily if they’re siblings.
It is because of their bald heads, ginger beards and matching glasses.

The couple say it gets “awkward” when waiting staff and social media followers assume they’re related.
The couple, who own several businesses, say as well as having similar features, the pair have the same fashion sense and have to go shopping together to make sure they don’t end up wearing the same outfits.
“People have said we look the same since we met and throughout our whole relationship,” James, from Northwich, Cheshire said.
“People have confused us before and called me Anthony.
“People are really confident when they say we must be brothers.
“When we were buying our first house the estate agent said we look like two brothers.
“In restaurants, the waiter will say ‘you must be brothers’.”
James also told What’s the Jam: “Every time I post on TikTok, someone comments saying you must be brothers.
“Sometimes we chuckle, sometimes they click that we’re a couple and sometimes we correct them and they laugh it off.
“It’s awkward but it’s always comical and it’s never in a negative way.”
The couple met online nine years ago and married in 2022.
They went on to have three children.
James and Anthony make sure they go to the opticians together so they choose a different style of glasses to avoid more confusion.
James said: “We don’t think we look alike but we’ve both got bald heads, ginger beards and usually wear a check shirt and jeans.
“As we’re aging, we’re developing greys in the same places.
“We have a similar dress sense which is usually a check shirt, jeans and trainers.
“Occasionally, we turn up wearing similar outfits.
“We try to get different style glasses so we always go together and we try to shop together so that we don’t get the same things because so much of our features already look the same.”
James shared a clip of the couple on TikTok explaining that they’re husbands and not siblings and the post has racked up more than 224,000 views.
Pals said the pair look like twins and suggested they should get a DNA test.
Chantelle Lee Campion said: “Ever hear the saying when you’ve been with your partner for so long you start looking like them?
“Class. Love it.”
Another added: “DNA test required.”
Sharon ssid: “I am half asleep. I had to double take because I thought I was seeing double for a second then I thought you were twins.”
Another person added: “You both have a type and it’s yourselves.”
