An influencer who bought £250 worth of Louis Vuitton chocolate says the treat is not worth the hefty price.
Carmie Sellitto boasts 1.3m TikTok followers, who loves his reviews of expensive eateries.
With Christmas fast-approaching, the 26-year-old Londoner decided to put a luxe Louis Vuitton piece to the test.
He spent his cash on a chocolate ski model statue, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The post has since garnered over 431,500 views, 27,200 likes and 3,800 comments.
The content creator started by unveiling the statue and admitted its appearance was pleasing to the eye.
It is made with milk, dark and white chocolate.
Carmie said: “Oh my god guys this looks absolutely beautiful.”
“This has to be one of the craziest things I’ve ever spent money on.
“I just don’t even wanna eat this.”
The influencer then took a bite and revealed the inside is a hazelnut praline flavour.
But albeit tasty, it is similar to another – far cheaper chocolate.
He said: “It is white chocolate.
“It does taste identical to a Milky Bar though.
“And for the price tag I’m not too happy about that.”
He then tried another section with some dark chocolate and enjoyed it before picking up the figure and finding chocolate truffles hidden inside.
Carmie rated the product quite high at 7.5 out of 10 – but this was mostly for flavour and the beauty.
Prise-wise, he couldn’t “believe I spent £250 on this”.
He added: “I think it is beautiful and shouldn’t really be eaten, the taste is ok, I’m not crazy about it.
“But the vibe of it in general is pretty sick.”
Viewers have reacted strongly to his video online.
Sarbann said: “You’re crazy… but love watching your videos.”
Someone else added: “£250 is crazy.”
Timothy said: “Again, Louis Vuitton is just a brand. It doesn’t mean anything. It does not mean anything at all.”
Another person added: “That is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen ! Sod the haters I can’t afford a bar of Dairy Milk nowadays.”
Ella said: “I don’t believe it it’s better than Lindt or Milka.”
