A restaurant owner has had a huge tattoo of a Doner kebab inked onto his neck.
Avi Elias specialises in meat dishes at his eponymously-named restaurant.
The chef, who is nicknamed ‘The Meat Man’, is best known for his shawarma, a variant of the kebab that is prepared from vertically-roasted meat.
Locals flock to his restaurant in the Israeli capital Tel Aviv to sample his flavoursome kebabs and meat treats.
As a result, Avi decided to depict his profession on the side of his neck in the form of a large tattoo.
A video shows the gloved tattoo artist wiping down the finished design on Avi’s reddened skin.
The tat appears to show a faceless chef carving meat from a kebab spit.
Avi posted the clip on Instagram for his 3,130 followers where it garnered 675 reactions and dozens of comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.
He said: “That was a good Saturday.”
One follower asked: “Is it chicken or lamb?”
Mazal said: “Really crazy.”
Julien added: “Ridiculous.”
Cam remarked: “Tattoos are so ugly.”
Aurelien said: “Best tattoo ever!”
