The ‘worst hotel’ in Benidorm where the popular comedy series Benidorm was filmed is getting a pool makeover.
Known as Sol Pelicanos Ocas, it was the staple filming location during the ITV show’s 10 year duration.
The three-star resort is already a hit for fans of the programme and tourists alike.

But they’re now undergoing a modern transformation, starting with the pool, reports What’s The Jam.
In a clip, which has racked up over 374,000 views and thousands of likes, they show the swimming area entirely off limits.
The floor has been removed, as well as all furniture.
And piles of bricks, rubble, pipes and fencing are scattered around.
The refurbishment has been ongoing since November 2024 and is due to complete on 11 April 2025.
