After New Year, the pair from Middlesbrough returned to Benidorm – to avoid racking up their winter heating bill.
The duo managed to get their hands on a return flight for just £37.99 each.
They travelled from Newcastle airport.
The pair stayed in Benidorm for a week from 4 to 11 January.
As in UK experienced sub-zero temperatures, the pair say they enjoyed 24C (75F) heat and sunshine.
They also spent €82 (£70.86) each on their accommodation at the Carlos V apartments in Benidorm.
This adds up to just £108.85 per person for flights and accommodation.
The pals say they spent no more than £17.20 ($20) a day on their trip.
This is because they search for budget-friendly pubs on their cheap getaway.
Graham even admits he’d prefer a beer over a cup of tea as it is “cheaper over there.”
He pays as little as 80p for a pint and grabs a £3.45 fry-up for his breakfast.
However, Graham says he spends £130 a week on a food shop back home.
He also admits to forking out an additional £40 on a takeaway every week.
Graham says his electric and gas bill costs him another £120 per week.
This adds up to £290 per week on food and bills in Graham’s household.
Graham said: “It says something when a Domino’s pizza is more expensive than a flight to Benidorm.
“I feel not enough is done to help people with the cost of living and people see no way out.
“In the UK – £250 wouldn’t get you much but in Benidorm, that kind of money gets you a lot.”
